What are the minimum workstation requirements for Care and Care UpClose? (F503)

The minimum requirements for Care are an Intel Pentium 1.5Ghz processor, 512MB RAM, 40GB Hard Disk. The requirements for Care UpClose are an Intel Pentium 1.5Ghz processor, 512MB minimum RAM (1GB RAM preferred), 40GB Hard Disk. Care and UpClose run on Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 operating systems, Microsoft Office 2000/2003/2007 and Internet Explorer 6/7.

Can I integrate my telephone system with Care? (F508)

Care is able to process incoming data from some phone systems to enable the automatic population of the Contact Information data fields. You will need to contact SFI to discuss your specific phone system requirements.

What are the server hardware requirements for Care? (F502)
|
|
|
|
Windows Server 2003/2008 (with the latest service pack) IIS 6/7, 8GB RAM minimum, 80GB Hard Disk. If SQL Server Version 2000/2005/2008, Oracle 9/10/11 or other applications are on the server, then more memory will be required, depending on the number of users. One processor, speed of 2GHz or greater, 2 processors (of 2Ghz or greater) if the server will be shared with other applications.

What database systems can I run Care with? (F505)

Care is certified to run with the following database systems. Vision (versions 5). This is the proprietary Care database. SQL Server (versions 2000, 2005). Oracle (versions 9, 10 and 11).

As a result of CARE's flexibility SFI have been able to install CARE into various business areas. These range from current installations in manufacturing, food, beverage, finance, banking and government. Given that CARE can be customised to suit business specific requirements we find few limitations that would prevent CARE from being installed across all industry sectors.

Does CARE support other languages? (F521)

CARE can be setup for all languages with translator options available within the system. Currently SFI have versions supporting Chinese and Japanese language sets which also includes support of double byte character sets.
